BLUESTONES

bluestones encircle these ruins
darkening with the rain
and sealed within, hallowed ashes

where now could I be?
this place is so peculiar to me
jealousy occurs and my vision obscures
all the while filling osseous rings

a leaden sky cystallizes
ominous clouds turn to ice
and when quiet enters, the warmth
of hope melts with gelid memories

my shadow self detaches
and she says she will never return
so still my shadow lingers, breathing
endlessly, endlessly
